Opening a New Food Establishment is exciting, here are the steps to the process:
- Visit the Building Department for a zoning review of your business
- Visit the Fire Department for a safety inspection (if it is not part of your zoning review)
- Visit the Town Clerk to obtain a business certificate
- Visit the Board of Health and present proof of documentation from the (3) previous departments, completed permit application, plan review fee and permit fee.
- Lastly, visit the Board of Selectmen to obtain a Common Victualler's License
- Once Plan Review is approved then a pre-operational inspection will be conducted.
