The Collector's Office is responsible for the billing and collection of real estate, personal property, and excise taxes in a timely manner and maintains the records of these accounts. Money collected is transmitted to the Treasurer and reconciled with the Town Accountant. Abatements for real estate, personal property, and excise bills are handled by the Assessor's Office.
Real Estate bills are mailed three times a year.
Bills for the 1st and 2nd Quarters of the Fiscal Year are mailed together. Bills for the 3rd and 4th Quarters are mailed separately. Excise bills are mailed upon issue by the registry.
Bills may be paid by check or money order made payable to the Town of Warren, or online through the link on the left side of this page. When paying in person in the office, cash is also accepted.
The cost of an MLC is $25.00.
